Velocity CU Adds Online Chat

AUSTIN, Texas Velocity CU announced this morning it has launched a secure online chat interface for members on its webpage.

The secure online chat feature is conveniently located on the lower left corner of the Velocity home page (https://www.velocitycu.com/) website. Members can use the interactive interface during business hours to ask questions about the credit union's loans, savings and investment programs, hours, locations, checking accounts, alerts, rates and fees. The chat messaging system also allows customers interested in electronic correspondence to leave a message while representatives are offline.

"We wanted to provide an additional resource for our customers," said Carol Cain, a senior vice president at the $640 million credit union. "We realize that some people who have detailed questions about our policies and services prefer to engage online instead of in person or on the phone. Our online chat support addresses that need."
