WATERLOO, Iowa – Veridian CU said it made $25,000 in awards to local groups that celebrate and raise community awareness of traditionally excluded groups or cultures. The awardess were: Cedar Falls Human Rights Commission; Lutheran Services of Iowa; Bright Move Network; Latinos Unidos and Big Brothers Big Sisters. The $1 billion credit union provides several grants programs each year supporting the arts and education as well.
