MARION, Ind. – Via CU has named John McIntyre, its executive vice president, its new president and CEO, succeeding Dick Kibbey, who is retiring at the end of the month after 36 years at the $240 million credit union.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the credit union grow in size and in services offered over the years. The credit union philosophy of serving members has been a natural fit for me,” said Kibbey. “Credit union people are special people and I have truly enjoyed interacting with League personnel and other credit union employees through the years. I will miss being around credit union people.”

McIntyre has served as EVP since 1978.
