Video Touts Convenience And Can Be Branded For Other CUs

MUSKEGON, Mich-A concept proposed by Service 1 FCU here has been selected as the winning entry and turned into a video by CU*Answers, a CUSO that provides core processing and other services.

The video is the latest to be created by CU*Answers as part of what is now its 3rd Annual Video Contest. It was produced by Fulview Productions, Grand Rapids, Mich., which produced the winning entries in 2008 and 2009, as well. It premiered during CU*Answers' Annual Leadership Event, and is based upon a concept provided by Service 1's Farrah Star. The video is available for customization for other credit unions, such as usage on websites and lobby kiosks.

The video promotes the convenience of credit union self-service products, such as online and mobile banking, using an actor wearing a bright green shirt with the words 'CREDIT UNION' on the front. Following a family through daily activities, their 'CREDIT UNION' is ready to assist in everything from handing over a debit card to pay for purchases, showing account balance inquiries on a mobile phone over breakfast, even sitting in bed with mom and dad ready to shake his head in disagreement when dad ponders "I wonder if we can afford this?"
