Virginia CU Exec To Head New Mexicos Zia CU

LOS ALAMOS, N.M. – Zia CU on Wednesday said it has hired David Woodruff, vice president of lending at Virginia’s CommonWealth One FCU, as president and CEO of the $140-million credit union.

Prior to going to work at CommonWealth One, Woodruff was manager of lending operations at Numerica CU in Spokane, Wash. He holds a BA in International Relations from Brigham Young University and is a graduate of the CUES CEO Institute.

Zia was chartered in 1955 and serves New Mexico’s Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, Taos and Santa Fe counties.
