OLYMPIA, Wash. – Washington State Employees CU, the state’s second largest credit union, celebrated a grand opening yesterday for its new headquarters here, a five-story, 130,000 square-foot building on the downtown’s Union Avenue.
The building, which houses a full-service branch, has a green LEED certification.
The $1.4 billion credit union’s old 30,000 square-foot headquarters, down Union Ave., will be used as a data center.
The project, which includes a 469-spot parking garage and remodeling of the old headquarters, cost about $65 million to complete.
