BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Whatcom Educational CU donated $17,300 to several local non-profit groups as part of its annual Social Responsibility program.
Grants were awarded to: American Museum of Radio and Electricity, Animals as Natural Therapy, Appliance Depot, Bellingham Senior Activity Center, Catholic Community Services, Common Threads Farm, Communities in Schools of Whatcom County, F.A.C.E.S. Northwest, Ferndale Food Bank, Mount Baker Theatre, Rebound of Whatcom County, Visiting Nurse Home Care, Whatcom Symphony Orchestra, Whatcom Hospice Foundation, Bellingham Puget Sound Anglers, YWCA and Bellingham Lions Club.
The credit union’s Social Responsibility Committee is reviewing applications for the annual second round of grants.
