BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Whatcom Educational CU on Friday said it contributed $10,000 to non-profit organizations as part of its annual Social Responsibility grant program.

This year’s recipients are: American Museum of Radio and Electricity, Animals as Natural Therapy, ARC of Whatcom County, Arthritis Foundation, Bellingham Technical College's parenting education program, Futurewise, Love Inc., Project Labyrinth, We Care of Whatcom County, Western Washington University's department of anthropology, Whatcom County Library, Whatcom County Sheriff's Reserve Deputy Training Academy and Womencare Shelter.
The $500 million credit union serves residents of Whatcom County.
