BELLINGHAM, Wash. - (11/10/05) -- Whatcom Educational CU said itcontributed a total of $11,000 to several local non-profitorganizations as part of its annual Social Responsibility program.The recipients are: Bellingham Food Bank, Blue Skies for Children,Computers for Kids in Need, Ferndale Food Bank, InterfaithCommunity Health Center's Dental Clinic, The Rainbow Center,Nooksack Salmon Enhancement, Soup's On, A Watered Garden FamilyLearning Center, Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center and WhatcomCounseling & Psychiatric Clinic. The credit union also donated$3,260 to Habitat for Humanity to cover the majority of landscapingcosts for one of their projects.
