When Fruit Attacks: Ad Promotes Power Of Cooperative Spirit

In this spot from Public Service Credit Union, Romulus, Mich., stop-action photography is used to show how one individual (represented by a grape) is no match for the big banks (represented by a watermelon).

But, as the spot shows, a bunch of grapes together can overwhelm the watermelon.

The voiceover says, "The big banks have been rolling over the little guy for far too long. But what can one little guy do? Well, if that one little guy finds a bunch of other little guys, they could make a big difference. If every little guy joined a credit union, the big banks wouldn't be so big anymore, now would they?"
