Whitefish CU Hires Missoula FCU Exec As New CEO

WHITEFISH, Mont. – James Kenyon III, a senior vice president at Missoula FCU, was named this week as new president and CEO of Whitefish CU, the state’s largest credit union.

Kenyon, who spent 16 years at Missoula FCU, will succeed Charley Abel, who retired last month after building Whitefish into a $1.1 billion credit union over 44 years. Kenyon started work Monday.

 

In Missoula , Kenyon was president of the Missoula Food Bank and served on the Five Valleys Land Trust Board and Missoula Mayor's Advisory Group on Climate Change and Sustainability, along with a host of volunteer positions for local organizations.
