APPLE VALLEY, Minn. – Wings Financial CU was named the official credit union of the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association and will offer members of the group a full range of financial products and services.
PAMA’s members work in every sector of the aviation industry and in every state in the country with a focus on fostering improvement in aviation safety. “Wherever aircraft fly, PAMA’s members hold the safety of aviation in their hands,” said Frank Weidner, president of the $3.4-billion credit union. “No matter where they work, PAMA’s members can count on us in our branch offices, online and wherever their jobs take them.”
As part of the deal, Wings Financial will enhance its promotion of its products and services to PAMA members immediately.
The credit union has a long history of serving the aviation industry. It was chartered as Northwest Employees Credit Union before adopting a community charter two years ago that allows it to continue serving the air transportation industry.
