CUES Lauches Redesigned Website
MADISON, Wis.-CUES has redesigned its site at cues.org, including the addition of "MyCUES," a tool members can use to personalize their CUES home page and to stay up-to-date on developments by using the news feed feature to create a compilation of news sites, blogs and e-newsletters. "MyCUES gives our members an easy way to access their favorite news sources and industry sites in one place, as well as network with their peers and gauge their professional development progress," said CUES President Fred Johnson.
CUNA Mutual Ads Coverage Options
MADISON, Wis.-CUNA Mutual Group reported that it added new credit union protection coverage options and increased claims payments to credit unions covered by its bond program by more than 40% in 2009.
The results were released as part of a web seminar that also offered product enhancement updates and reviewed risk trends. The company said in 2009 bond benefits paid to customers exceeded premiums by 27% and CUs filed nearly 8,000 CU protection claims broken down as follows: 3,000 bond, 1,200 management and professional liability, 3,000 property & business liability/workers comp, and 700 business auto. Lender Liability was the fastest-growing loss area with a 19% increase, while Directors, Volunteers and Employee (DVE) claims increased by more than 100%, the company said, adding that its CU protection premium retention was 98.4%, the highest in recent history.
