HOUSTON – A large man who held up an Associated FCU branch inside a Kroger grocery store two weeks ago hit the same credit union again, according to police.
The robbery, dubbed the “XXXL Bandit,” walked into the credit union and handed a note demanding cash to the teller. The man got an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot, according to police.
The man, also suspected of robbing a Wells Fargo branch inside a Randalls store on July 12, was described as white, 28 to 35 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, 275 to 300 pounds and clean shaven.
