RACINE, Wis. – Educators CU and the YMCAs of southern Wisconsin are offering to help six families improve their financial profiles in a nine-month “Savings Challenge,” with the participants improving their finances the most winning $10,000.

Participants must live in southeastern Wisconsin, demonstrate a need for a savings makeover and a willingness to significantly improve their financial situation. Applications are available at the credit union’s website at www.ecu.com and at YMCAs in Racine, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Lake Geneva and Waukesha.
Non-participants will have the option to play the “at-home version” of the Savings Challenge to create better savings habits and reduce debt.
