Young Members' Video Wins $500 For Charity In 'Pay It Forward'

VACAVILLE, Calif.–Two members of Travis Credit Union here have selected as winners of its "TCU Pays It Forward" program.

Built on Web 2.0 technology, the program allowed members and non-members to suggest worthwhile causes they feel deserve support by submitting videos or e-mail messages via a special page on TCU's website.

The Napa Valley Education Foundation's Change 4 Kids effort was selected as the most deserving charitable organization to receive a $500 donation.

Theo Matz, 14, and Jeffrey Perez de Leon, 14, both freshmen at Justin-Siena High School, produced the award-winning video. They both received certificates of recognition from Travis Credit Union for helping their community.
