Howard Williams, a former director of Fort Knox FCU, Radcliff, Ky., was named the 2014 Distinguished Director by CUES. He will be honored at the trade group's upcoming Directors Conference in Palm Desert, Calif.
Merrimack Valley CU President/CEO Peter Matthews won the Community Hero Award from Emmaus, Inc., a non-profit community housing agency. Above, Matthews accepts the award at Emmaus' "Paving the Road Home Breakfast."
Chris Wardrip, CEO of Financial Health FCU, Indianapolis, won the Cooperative Hero Award presented by the Indiana Cooperative Development Center.
Tech CU President/CEO Barbara Kamm has been appointed to serve on the board of directors of the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce. Kamm also was recently inducted into the Wall of Fame at the Silicon Valley Capital Club for her contributions as a dedicated business and community leader.
