Arrowhead
Arrowhead CU, San Bernardino, Calif., once again donated essential items to help local families living in shelters care for infants and young children. The credit union donated more than 20,000 items, including 6,000 diapers, 14,000 baby wipes, shampoos, lotions and more. Separately, team members donated 600 articles of clothing to Cal State San Bernardino's Career Center Clothing Closet.
Western Cooperative
Western Cooperative CU, Williston, N.D., presented the first installment of a $10,000 donation to the 2016 Babe Ruth World Series. The $5,000 was earmarked for field and stand improvements at Ardean Aafedt Stadium that were done in preparation for the large tournament that was played Williston this summer.

Jeanne D'Arc CU, Lowell, Mass., was honored as one of the 2016 recipients of Ste Jeanne d'Arc School's Elisabeth Bruyère Award. Separately, the CU donated $1,500 to benefit the Megan House Foundation, which establishes substance abuse treatment services for women in need.

Northwest FCU, Herndon, Va., sent 100 runners and one of the largest groups of volunteers to the Cherry Blossom Ten-mile Run to raise money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Compass Financial FCU, Medley, Fla., celebrated its 80th anniversary with a special reception and honorary ribbon cutting that drew more than 100 members and community leaders.

RTN FCU, Waltham, Mass., sponsored health and wellness fairs at three area schools this spring to spread the word on the importance of financial health.

Navigant CU, Smithfield, R.I., was honored at the second annual Innovation in Financial Education Awards presented by Nasdaq and EverFi. The award recognized the CU's efforts to improve the financial capability of Americans through unique digital learning initiatives.

NuMark CU, Joliet, Ill., won the 2016 Southwest Choice Award presented by 22nd Century Media and was voted Best Credit Union in the southwest suburbs.
