Cy-Fair FCU, Houston, announced the winners of its Scholarship Program. One student will receive $2,000 and seven students will receive $1,000 scholarships.
Another successful year is in the books for the Furthering Community Unity Team's annual "Everyone's Gotta Eat" food drive powered by Shell FCU, Deer Park, Texas. Some 3,000 items were collected and more than $800 was raised. The donations benefited 15 food pantries and animal shelters throughout Harris County.
Service One CU, Bowling Green, Ky., awarded $12,000 in Western Kentucky University scholarships. Service One presented a check to the WKU Foundation, which will distribute the funds to the 7 deserving students: 5 returning WKU students who received $2,000 each, and 2 high school students who received $1,000 each.
Clearview FCU, Moon Township, Pa., named the 10 winners of its 2014 Ralph B. Canterbury Scholarship, each awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
Align CU, Lowell, Mass., awarded $12,000 to the winners of its 21st annual scholarship program.
