Separately, the CU also donated $1,000 to the Salvation Army, $500 to Macon Outreach, $1,000 to Middle Georgia Food Bank, $500 to HODAC, $500 to Hephzibah Children's Home, $750 to Loaves & Fishes and put together 65 care packages for deployed troops stationed at Robins Air Force Base.

Truliant FCU, Winston-Salem, N.C., served as a host site for the American Cancer Society's third Cancer Prevention Study. Seperately, the CU announced that Patricia Shue won its "Mortgage for a Year" contest.
American 1 CU, Jackson, Mich., donated $300 to Toys for Tots, raised $180 for Salvation Army's Adopt-A-Family program, raised $300 for Consumer's Energy's Gift Certficates program, donated $100 to Meals on Wheels, donated $70 worth of non-perishable food items to the Grass Lake Food Pantry, raised $350 for AWARE, made baked goods for the Brooklyn Police and Fire Station, adopted two units of soldiers for Christmas, adopted two National Guard families and adopted 15 homeless teens at Do'Chas II for the holiday season, as well.

Day during which staff made 90 "surgery bears" for Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters patients, 551 personal care kits for Menchville House residents, organized1,500 patient files for the Lackey Free Clinic, collected 3,000 pounds of food for the Foodbank of the Virginia Peninsula and raised $1,602 for Operation Homefront of the Virginias.
