First Financial FCU, Wall, N.J., received an economic development award from the Monmouth Ocean Development Council in recognition for its work to enhance the quality of life and business environment in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
Robins FCU, Warner Robins, Ga., sponsored the 7th Annual David Pierce Memorial Luncheon by contributing $2,000 to the Macon Regional Crimestoppers.
Army Aviation FCU, Daleville, Ala., donated $17,729 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation after raising funds from employees and members during April and May. Employees and members donated $12,729, and the credit union donated an additional $5,000.
State Employees' CU, Raleigh, N.C., celebrated the opening of the new Echo Ridge Teacher Housing Complex in Hoke County. The apartments will help recruit and retain teachers for Hoke County schools.
121 FCU, Jacksonville, Fla., awarded three $2,500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in recognition for the students' record of community service and financial need.

Dutch Point Cu, Wethersfield, Conn., awarded five $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors. The scholarships are named after Dorothy J. Sullivan, the CU's previous CEO and first employee, and are based on academic record, leadership qualities and community involvement.
American Heritage FCU won First Place for "Healthiest Employees of the Greater Philadelphia Area." The award was given out by the Philadelphia Business Journal and United Healthcare. This is the fourth consecutive year the CU has been named a winner in this competition.
Aggieland CU, Bryan Texas, awarded a $1,000 scholarshiop to Rebekah Snodgrass, who recently graduated high school and will attend Texas A&M University in the fall.
SESLOC FCU, San Luis Obispo, Calif., invited members to join the CU in supporting the San Luis Obispo County Food Bank's "Lovin' Lunchbox" program. The fundraising event raised more than 410,000 for the program, including $1,500 from the credit union.
Summit CU, Madison, Wis., awarded four $1,500 scholarships at its annual membership meeting in April.
Hopewell FCU awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Hayli Ward, who plans to attend Bowling Green University in the fall and hopes to study to become a veterinarian.
The Security Service Charitable Foundation of Security Service FCU, Corpus Christi, Texas, presented a $10,000 grant to USO South Texas, Inc, to support active duty military families at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi and Naval Air Station Kingsville.
Arrowhead CU, San Bernadino, Calif., partnered with CSU San Bernadino's Student Leadership Department to offer a fiveweek series of financial workshops for students. Topics included budgeting, understanding credit, car buying and identity theft protection.
Financial Partners CU, Downey, Calif., presented $1,000 scholarships to five high school seniors. The awards are known as Future Innovators Scholarships, and are offered by the CU in partnership with the Columbia Memorial Space Center.
Postal CU, Woodbury, Minn., took part in the Minnesota Musella Foundation's 5k Walk/Run to End Brain Tumors. This was the third year the CU has taken part in the event.
About 60 children and parents (who are employees at Altura CU, Riverside, Calif.) participated in the CU's Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day, which included children "shadowing" their parent to learn about their jobs.
