Employees of St. Anne's CU, Fall River, Mass., participated in a Boston Strong Casual Day on April 15 to remember the one-year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing and pay tribute to Lt. Walsh and Firefighter Kennedy, who lost their lives fighting a fire in Boston. More than $400 went to The One Fund Boston and a memorial fund for both firefighters. On April 24 it participated in "Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day," with 15 children going to work at the CU for the day. Also, The Boys & Girls Club of Fall River's Keystone Club received a $10,000 grant over a two-year period from the CU, the second $10,000 donation St. Anne's has made to the Boys and Girls Club in four years.

The Battle Creek Chapter of Credit Unions, Battle Creek, Mich., donated $3,000 to S.A.F.E Place, which shelters victims of domestic violence and their children. It is one of the busiest shelters in Michigan.
