Lacamas Community CU, Camas, Wash., donated $3,000 to the Stevenson Carson School District, one of its 2014 Community Partnership groups. This is the sixth consecutive year Lacamas has given a donation to the districts.
Del Norte CU, Santa Fe, N.M., has once again been recognized by Quality New Mexico and its New Mexico Performance Excellence Awards program for progress towards performance excellenceLevel 3 Roadrunner recognition.
Moonlight CU, Worthington, Pa., hosted "Beach Week" to celebrate National CU Youth Week. Beach bags of goodies were passed out to the youth that included small prizes, coloring mazes and other kids games.
March was Red Cross month for Hopewell FCU, Heath, Ohio, which celebrated with a variety of fundraisers including the sale of Everyday Hero cards for $1, a bake sale and Red Cross t-shirt sales. Hopewell FCU raised $650, which was presented to Rod Cook, director, Red Cross of Licking County.
