St. Anne's CU, Fall River, Mass., took part in Autism Speaks' international Light It Up Blue Campaign. Separately, the CU hosted a free seminar for home buyers and supported the Rally for the Jimmy Fund.
MidSouth Community FCU, Macon, Ga., presented a donation to the American Cancer Society to assist in sponsoring the Relay For Life of Bibb County event.
Robins FCU, Warner Robins, Ga., sponsored the American Heart Association by contributing $2,500 to the Go Red for Women Luncheon. The CU also donated $1,000 to the Central Georgia March for Babies.
As part of the Pennsylvania CU Foundations Financial Reality Fair initiative, Diamond CU and Tri County Area FCU, both of Pottstown, Pa., joined forces to hold the first Fair in the Pottstown area.
Millstream Area CU, Findlay, Ohio, supported National Child Abuse Prevention Month by wearing blue.
NuVision FCU, Huntington Beach, Calif., said its branches across Los Angeles and Orange counties once again served as collection sites for the CU's annual Spring Toy Drive benefiting Children's Hospitals of Orange County and Los Angeles.
San Diego County CU participated in the Third Avenue Village Associations Taste of Third event in Chula Vista, Calif. Separately, SDCCU held its spring SDCCU Shred Day at three locations, and SDCCU was recognized by the Scripps Whittier Diabetes Institute for its support of Project Dulce, a diabetes care and education program.
Park Side CU, Whitefish, Mont., received the Employer of Choice Award for Flathead County from the Montana Department of Labor and Industry.
Sikorsky CU, Stratford, Conn., hosted a Financial Reality Fair at Oxford High School, where students got quite an education on some of the challenges that await them in the future.
Michigan Community CU, Jackson, Mich., said its quarterly Forward Thinking Grant has been awarded to Hillsdale County ISD Great Start and Townsend Elementary Music Program.
