Orange County's CU, Santa Ana, Calif., celebrated a milestone as it welcomed its 90,000th member.
In Waterford, Conn., Charter Oak FCU's promotion awarded two tickets to Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience World Tour.
Generations FCU said thanks to fire and police officers in San Antonio who gave up their Thanksgiving with turkeys at every fire station and a pre-cooked ham to every police station.
St. Anne's CU, Fall River, Mass., held its annual Thanksgiving Member Appreciation Event. Separately, the CU participated in the 30th Annual Children's Holiday Parade.
Patriot FCU, Chambersburg, Pa., donated $2,000 to United Way of Washington County Maryland and $500 to Women In Need.
In Granite City, Ill., GCS CU's male employees participatein "No-Shave November," as 15employees raised $300 that was donated to the Good Samaritan House.
In Philadelphia, American Heritage FCU commemorated the 1,000,000th dollar it has donated to its Kids-N-Hope Foundation.
San Diego County CU held a grand opening for its new San Ysidro branch.
More than 550 children enjoyed "Story Time With Santa," sponsored and staffed by Altura CU, as part of a five-day holiday celebration in Riverside, Calif. The CU also teamed up with the Moreno Valley Police Department to help spread joy this season by donating $500 to "Operation Holiday Cheer."
SPC CU, Hartsville, S.C., donated $5,000 to three local United Way agencies in its market area.
Security Service FCU, San Antonio, and its Charitable Foundation donated $10,000 to Driscoll Children's Hospital, $10,000 to Rise Recovery, and $10,000 to Aven's Village at Island Grove.
Army Aviation Center FCU, Daleville, Ala., donated thousands of pounds of food to food banks in its service areas following its annual food drive.
In an effort to help raise awareness for men's health issues, City of Boston CU took part in the annual "Movember" campaign.
Teachers FCU, Hauppauge, N.Y., sponsored the painting of a mural at Adults and Children with Learning Disabilities Alan and Ellen Spiegel Children's Center in Bay Shore. Separately, the CU raised more than $14,000 for United Way of Long Island's Military Family Assistance Initiative.
Denver Community CU presented Miroslawa Garbowski with a check for $5,000 as the winner of its Convenience Check-up Sweepstakes.
Arkansas FCU, Jacksonville, Ark., presented the Little Rock Compassion Center with a $1,000 check.
Natco CU, Richmond, Ind., was CUNA's first place national winner of the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award for its Community Empowerment Center.
RTN FCU, Waltham, Mass., donated $10,000 to the Brigham and Women's Hospital Marathon Team.
Isabella Community CU, Mt. Pleasant, Mich., donated $1,456.90 to the John H. Goodrow Fund, which meets emergency needs in Isabella County.
SAFE CU hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate moving its headquarters from North Highlands, Calif., to Folsom.
