Mendell Thompson, president and CEO of Americas Christian CU, Glendora, Calif., was recognized by the Glendora Unified School District for all the work he has done in support of students and staff in the district.
Shana Runck, AVP-community relations and financial capabilities at New Mexico Educators FCU, Albuquerque, was recognized by the White House with a Latino Educator Champions of Change award for her work promoting financial education and job training for students in the state.
The National Credit Union Foundation elected Courtney Moran, executive director of the Cornerstone CU Foundation, Farmers Branch, Texas, to the NCUF board of directors.
Wescom CU, Pasadena, Calif., has selected Irving Yu to serve as the CUs new SVP/CFO.
Redwood CU, Santa Rosa, Calif., hired Christina Cook as SVP-accounting and finance.
