Credit unions announce promotions, new hires and accomplishments.
Financial Center FCU, Indianapolis announced two new hires and two promotions. The CU hired Ed Valasek to serve as vice president of technology and Gabriel Arellano as new contact center manager. It promoted Adrian Phillips to member and business analyst and Dusty Simmons to marketing campaign officer.
SEFCU, Albany, N.Y., hired Ellen McCaughin as commercial loan officer.
Hanscom FCU, Hanscom AFB, Mass., honored Member Relations Manager Jessica Read with the 2014 Cushman Award. Named for long-time board member John Cushman, the award is given to the staff member who best embodies the ideals of Hanscom FCU.
USFCU in Burnsville, Minn., reported that Anthony Bumgarner, a financial advisor with CUNA Brokerage Services, has been appointed vice president of wealth management by the brokerage firm. Bumgarner works out of USFCU's Fridley, Minn., location.
Holy Rosary CU, Rochester, N.H., has promoted Nicole Huntress to branch manager.
IC FCU, Fitchburg, Mass., promoted Brenda Bujnevicie to SVP of mortgage lending and loss mitigation, Christine Lane to SVP risk and budget and Holly Sanchez to training and employee engagement manager. Elaine Sigismondo remains SVP of IT.
IC FCU, Fitchburg, Mass., also promoted Bruce Mathieu to SVP retail and consumer lending, and Philip Richards to SVP operations and strategy. Francis Dauphinais remains SVP and CFO.
Aventa CU, Colorado Springs, Colo., named Lowell Bender mortgage manager.
