K.C. Police CU, Kansas City, Mo., had 19 Plungers and three Super Plungers in the Polar Plunge, raising more than $27,000 for Special Olympics Missouri. It was the CU's seventh and biggest year plunging.
Scott CU, Edwardsville, Ill., garnered two awards from the Illinois CU League: an honorable mention for youth financial education and first place for raising $86,000 as the host and presenting sponsor for the ACS Mardi Gras Ball.
