Riverdale, Utah-based America First CU celebrated the opening of its 116th branch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Downtown Summerlin, Las Vegas. The occasion was marked with an appearance by the UNLV Rebel Girls. The CU now has 14 locations in Southern Nevada.

San Antonio-based Security Service FCU’s Charitable Foundation made a $10,000 donation to bring Junior Achievement’s financial literacy program to David Gourley Elementary School in Salt Lake City. Separately, the CU marked the opening of its new branch in McAllen, Texas, with a $3,000 donation to the Salvation Army.
