A number of credit union CEOs earned special recognition from a variety of state and local organizations, and other CU professionals in the news.
Scott Burgess (left), CEO of Rivermark Community CU, Beaverton, Ore., was named Oregon CU Advocate of the Year by the Northwest CU Association.
Brian Allande, facilities manager at Royal CU, Eau Claire, Wisc., was presented with the credit union's 2016 Positive Impact Award.
Cindy Russell, compliance consultant at Pennsylvania CU Association, recently completed her CUCE designation.
Erin Ensminger, compliance & operations officer at Pennsylvania CU Association, recently completed her CUCE designation.
The Indiana CU League said Karla Salisbury, president and CEO of KEMBA CU, Indianapolis, was elected vice chairman (table officer) at the League.
The Indiana CU League said Dallas Bergl, president and CEO of INOVA FCU, Elkhart, Ind. was elected board secretary (table officer) at the League.
The Indiana CU League said Kevin Ryan, president and CEO of Financial Center First CU, Indianapolis, was elected a table officer at the League.
Public Service CU, Romulus, Mich., said Amanda Bokor was promoted to consumer lending manager.
Members Plus CU, Medford, Mass., named John Ivas as information systems manager; and Patricia Tarr as deposit product and service manager.
