Maurice W. Johnson, chair of the board of directors for Pen Air FCU, Pensacola, Fla., was inducted into the Defense Credit Union Council&'s Hall of Honor.
Riverdale, Utah-based America First CU held a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting at its newest location in Saratoga Springs, Utah. It was the sixth America First branch to open thus far in 2014 and the 109th location for the CU servicing Utah and Southern Nevada.

Anthony Perez was the latest winner in Riverside, Calif.-based Altura CU's "Better Ways to Win" debit card promotion. Perez won $500 simply for using his Altura Visa Debit Card to make a purchase.
Tampa, Fla.-based Suncoast CU opened its first branch in Sarasota County in North Port, Fla. In December 2013, members voted in favor of converting from a federal charter to a state charter, allowing the CU to expand its services to Sarasota County.
