Each year, St. Anne's CU, Fall River, Mass., awards the Deacon Bernard G. Theroux scholarship to a deserving student at St. Stanislaus School. This year, first grader Jeffrey Swauger was the recipient. Separately, the CU teamed with St. Anne's Hospital to co-sponsor a Red Cross Blood Drive. CU employees raised nearly $200 and 15 employees donated blood.
First Flight FCU, Cary, N.C., co-sponsored the Twin Rivers YMCA Triathlon. First Flight staffers volunteered at the event, as proceeds benefited Twin Rivers YMCA's Annual Scholarship Support.
In Muncie, Ind., Credit Unions United For a Cause participated in their local American Cancer Society Relay For Life event. Ball State FCU, First County FCU, Industrial Centre FCU, and PrimeTrust FCU, all members of CUFAC, raised $18,328.

Members 1st FCU, Mechanicsburg, Pa., raised $45,000 through its annual golf outing and donated it to three local charitable organizations: Arc of Cumberland & Perry Counties, Palmyra Public Library and the Salvation Army of the Capital Region.
In Pittsford, N.Y., The Pittsford Central School District broke ground on its capital project at the Sutherland High School athletic field. Pittsford FCU contributed $300,000 toward the concession/restroom facilities, the largest donation in the CU's 45-year history.
Members Advantage CU's Shred Day at its Portage, Ind., headquarters was the culmination of a month-long event to make a difference in its community. Members collected more than 800 food and other non-perishable items for the Portage Food Pantry.

Northwest FCU, Herndon, Va., celebrated National Credit Union Youth Week with 51 new youth accounts, as youth members made nearly 1,300 deposits totaling $156,835. Three-year-old Ryan Mattus (left, with his mom and younger brother) won a $100 prize.
Tower FCU held its 32nd annual Tower Classic charity golf tournament at Renditions Golf Club in Davidsonville, Md. Some 130 golfers raised $18,000 for the Johns Hopkins Children's Center in Baltimore. Since 1998, the Tower Classic has raised more than $230,000 for Johns Hopkins.
Andrews FCU, Suitland, Md., unveiled its wrapped Chevy Equinox. The vehicle, primarily driven by business development and marketing staff, features a green, blue and white color scheme with the CU's core loan products emblazoned on each car door, and its logo, website address and phone number in large print for easy viewing.
St. Mary's Bank, Manchester, N.H., provided a $2,400 Community Outreach grant to the citys New Life Home for Women and Children.
