A unit of American International Group Inc. said that it has introduced a group life insurance package that will be offered to businesses in 15 European countries.
The employee benefit package, which was launched Tuesday, offers pan-European group life and accidental death riders for companies in the European Union.
AIG Group Management Division announced that the products will be administered and underwritten by AIG Life Ireland Ltd. and managed by the AIG Global Benefits Network.
The company said that it plans to have customer service teams based across Europe that are fluent in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
The division is based in New York and has offices in 100 nations.
Its employee benefits, credit insurance, and global pension products and services are offered through AIG's life insurance subsidiaries.
