Algonquin State Bank in Illinois has promoted several employees in a revamping of executive management.

The $133 million-asset bank promoted Richard Worzala to co-chief executive and vice chairman. Worzala, who was previously president and chief operating officer and who joined the bank in 2010, will share the CEO title with Chairman Daniel Morrissey.

The bank promoted Karen Villaflor to fill Worzala's roles as president and COO. Villaflor, who joined the bank in 2008, was previously executive vice president.

Algonquin promoted Georgine Ference from senior vice president of lending to Villaflor's former post. Jeffrey Kroeger, who joined the bank in 1995, was named senior vice president of loans.
