AltaPacific Bancorp in Santa Rosa, Calif., has agreed to buy Commerce Bank of Temecula Valley in Murrieta, Calif.
The $357 million-asset AltaPacific said in a press release last week that it will pay about $16 million in cash and stock for the $73 million-asset Commerce Bank. The deal is expected to close no later than the first quarter.
AltaPacific was advised by King, Holmes, Paterno & Soriano. Commerce Bank was advised by the Findley Group and Loren P. Hansen.
