American National in Danville, Va., has hired the former chief financial officer of NewBridge Bancorp to oversee strategic initiatives.
The $1.6 billion-asset company said in a press release Tuesday that it had hired Ramsey Hamadi. American National noted that Hamadi's expertise includes cost management, business development, capital planning and accretive acquisitions.
Hamadi was the CFO of NewBridge. The Greensboro, N.C., company
Hamadi is "an experienced financial executive with proven expertise in delivering shareholder value and financial success," Jeffrey Haley, American National's president and chief executive, said in the release. "It is critical that our strategic initiatives continue to stay in step with the needs of our customers, shareholders, employees and the communities we serve."
