Aurora Capital Group, a Los Angeles private-equity firm, has hired William Harrison, the former chairman at JPMorgan Chase & Co Inc., as an adviser for its investment advisory committee.
Mr. Harrison, 64, retired as the chairman of JPMorgan Chase on Dec. 31, 2006, and was succeeded by James Dimon, the company's current chairman and CEO.
Aurora manages more than $2 billion of private-equity capital.
