Bank Attorney Lampe Defects to Morrison & Foerster

Defections from the law firm Dykema Gossett PLLC just keep coming.

On Tuesday the law firm Morrison & Foerster announced that it has hired Donald Lampe, who headed Dykema's financial services regulatory and compliance team, as a partner. Lampe's departure comes a day after three litigators with Dykema jumped ship to join the law firm BuckleySandler LLP.

Lampe, a highly respected bank attorney who assists clients with fair-lending matters and the vast new rules promulgated by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, will relocate to Washington from Charlotte, N.C.

Last month, he was named for the third year by his peers as one of "America's Leading Lawyers for Business," by the London publisher Chambers and Partners.

"Don's addition bolsters our recently expanded mortgage and fair lending group," Rick Fischer, co-head of Morrison & Foerster's financial services group, said in a press release.
