U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management announced it had promoted Paul Weaver to private-client adviser and hired Steve Hall to be a portfolio manager in Albuquerque.

Since buying U.S. Trust last year, Bank of America said Wednesday, it has hired more than 250 client-facing professionals nationwide.
Mr. Weaver was a client manager in Bank of America's global commercial banking unit. In that role, he managed a portfolio of commercial and government clients in the Albuquerque, southern New Mexico, and El Paso markets.
Mr. Hall joins U.S. Trust from Hall and Goldberg, an advisory firm where he was a principal and co-owner.
