BNY ConvergEx Group LLC, a unit of Bank of New York Mellon Corp. that provides global agency brokerage and investment technology, has established a U.K. broker-dealer, BNY ConvergEx Ltd.

The broker-dealer will house all of BNY ConvergEx Group's institutional investment businesses in Europe, the company said Monday.

Its European offerings include services that target the specific industry requirements of global investment managers, pension funds, hedge funds, and broker-dealers.

BNY ConvergEx Group provides global institutional agency brokerage and investment technology to institutional clients.
