Bank of New York Mellon Corp. hired Tracy C. Nickl as the managing director of BNY Mellon Wealth Management in Southern California.

She works out of Century City in running the unit's offices there and in Los Angeles, Glendale, and Newport Beach.Ms. Nickl was a senior vice president for Wells Fargo & Co.'s family wealth group.
BNY Mellon Wealth Management, which announced the hiring Monday, has $155 billion of private client assets under management and a network of 83 offices globally.
