Uruguay's central bank has selected Bank of New York Mellon Corp.'s global asset servicing arm as the global custodian for the bank's $4.5 billion investment portfolio.
BNY Mellon Asset Servicing said last week that it will provide investment accounting, performance and risk analytics, and securities lending services.
Banco Central de Uruguay was created in 1967. BNY Mellon Asset Servicing offers specialized asset servicing capabilities, including custody and fund services, securities lending, performance and analytics, and execution services.
