Bischel Promoted to CEO at SKBA

SKBA Capital Management, a San Francisco unit of Convergent Capital Management, named Andrew W. Bischel its chief executive.

Mr. Bischel, who has more than 30 years of experience in the investment advisory industry, succeeded Kenneth Kaplan.

Mr. Kaplan will remain the chairman of SKBA's board. Joshua J. Rothe, director of research, succeeded Mr. Bischel as president, a title he had held since 2000. Mr. Bischel retains the post of chief investment officer. Both men have been named to the company's board.

SKBA is an investment adviser that manages equity, fixed-income, and balanced portfolios for corporate and public pension funds, endowments, foundations, and high-net-worth investors.
