BNP Paribas SA hired Thomas Mahala and Jason Miller for its global hedge fund relationship management team in New York.
Mr. Mahala was a managing director and the head of the capital introduction group for Banc of America Securities. Previously he had been a senior relationship manager for institutional accounts, including hedge funds, at the Bank of America Corp. unit.
Mr. Miller was a senior relationship manager for hedge fund clients for Banc of America Securities. Previously he had worked in relationship management for Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers, and Citigroup Inc.
The hirings were announced Tuesday. BNP Paribas now has over a dozen relationship management professionals in New York, London, and Hong Kong serving its hedge fund clients.
