Citigroup Inc. continued a recent hiring spree in its private banking unit, adding two regional executives from Barclays Wealth, a unit of Barclays PLC.
To fill newly created roles, Citi added Michael K. Smith as a Midwest regional executive and Mark Connally as Southwest regional executive. Both will be managing directors and report to Peter Charrington, the CEO of Citi Private Bank in North America.
"Expanding our franchise across the Midwest and the Southwest are key priorities," Charrington said in a press release.
