WASHINGTON -- Lawyers and accountants trying to recover money for depositors of Bank of Credit and Commerce International have filed a $55 million civil lawsuit against Robert Altman and Clark Clifford.

Mr. Clifford and Mr. Altman, who are no longer under federal criminal charges, had "an irreconcilable conflict of interest" because they served as lawyers for both the failed BCCI and for First American Bankshares, according to a Washington Post report.
