Columbia Management, a Boston unit of Bank of America Corp., has completed the integration of 24 Excelsior funds into its Columbia Funds family.
Excelsior fund shareholders approved the fund reorganization last month. Columbia announced its completion Tuesday.
As part of the integration, 11 Excelsior and Columbia funds with similar investment objectives and principal investment strategies were merged. The remaining 13 Excelsior funds have been reorganized as Columbia funds and rebranded with the Columbia name.
Pending shareholder approval, three additional Excelsior funds are expected to be integrated into the Columbia Funds family next month.
Columbia Management had $643.5 billion of assets under management at yearend.
