Wilmington Trust Corp. has hired James A. Combs Jr. as senior vice president and manager of the trust and custody services division for both its corporate client services and wealth advisory services businesses.
Mr. Combs has more than 17 years of experience in operations and product management. He was director of wealth services solution delivery for SEI Investments' private banking business. He also has worked for Bankers Trust Corp., Global Processing Alliance Inc., and Wachovia Operational Services Corp.
The trust and custody services division provides accounting and internal reporting, asset and liability servicing, performance measurement, client information delivery, systems and processing management, and compliance management services.
Wilmington Trust, which announced the hiring last week, provides banking services in the Middle Atlantic region, wealth advisory services for clients in 36 countries, and corporate client services for institutional clients in 86 countries.
