Community Bank of Tri-County in Md. Promotes New CFO

Community Bank of Tri-County in Waldorf, Md., has named a new chief financial officer.

Todd Capitani will be responsible for the financial reporting and asset management of the $975 million-asset company, it said Monday. He has been with the company since 2009 and is currently senior lending officer.

William Pasenelli had been the company's chief financial officer, according to its website. A company spokeswoman was not immediately available to provide further details.

Capitani "has been an integral part of our senior management team for the past several years," said Michael Middleton, the chief executive at Community Bank of Tri-County, in a news release. "He has shown his leadership and financial acumen. I am confident that his knowledge of finance and a forward-thinking perspective will enable the bank to excel as a leading financial institution in the region."

Community Bank of Tri-County promoted James Burke to chief risk officer earlier this month.
