Babson Capital Management LLC in Springfield, Mass., has hired Glenn Weiner to its consultant relations team.
Working in Charlotte with David Acampora, Weiner will Babson Capital develop and manage relationships with investment consultants.
Both report to Paula Ryan, the head of consultant relations and marketing for the investment manager's global business development group, according to an announcement Tuesday.
Weiner has 13 years of investment industry experience, most recently as a vice president and consultant relations manager for Capital Guardian Trust Co.
Before that he was a consultant relations manager and assistant global equity product manager for Wellington Management Co.
Babson had $110 billion of assets under management through August.
